The Granaboard Rules & Regulations have been updated to address some issues.
The main changes are:
● Since the Code of Honor rule introduced in the last revision was ignored (we lack honor),
4.6. Threads whose title ends in [!OT] are to be kept on topic (even against the original creator's posts). Too much offtopic posting in [!OT] marked threads will be moderated.
Stop going offtopic in [!OT] threads because you will get moderated.
● New Code of Honor rule 5.5: Avoid using ALL CAPS, l33t, and intentional typos and grammar errors like "teh", unless you want to make a specific joke or want something to sound stupid, because that is how they sound.
● Change in rule 4.2 part B; moderators may now: Add, change, or correct a label in a thread to indicate which general area of interest it discusses. Usable labels will be defined in a closed sticky thread by moderators and are subject to change. Note that thread titles might need to have some characters in the end (keeping [!OT] marks if any) removed for the label to fit. (Under no circumstances will moderators change anything else of thread titles.)
● New rule 4.8: The maximum nickname length is 16 characters. Users with user names larger than this, or user names that somehow break page layouts, may be asked to change them.
Note that currently no user has a user name larger than 16 characters so nobody has to change anything.
The full GR&R is available here.
The labels will be updated as well, check the label sticky when you see it updated.

As you read, the rule says "too much offtopic" will be moderated.
I'd like to further clarify how will we mod offtopic in [!OT] threads:
? We will mod any completely unrelated comment. If we're discussing Darwin's theory and somebody posts "Come to think of it, tomorrow is my parrot's birthday", you can bet it will be moderated.
? A mixed ontopic/offtopic post is acceptable. The offtopic part should be releated somehow, otherwise it'd be silly and probably fall unnoticed by most members.
? An offtopic post that's related somehow may be tolerated, and maybe, just maybe, a replies on it could be tolerated (but don't count on it), but if people don't go back on topic soon, we will act. Remember you can always create new threads, which is the PROPER way in a message board, especially if you don't want your messages to be completely ignored by people not interested in the topic you're killing.
? We will ask for any spinoff topic to move to a different thread (creating threads is free dammit) and mod any of it.

The Granaboard Rules & Regulations have been updated. (Mods read this.)
The changes are:
■ Granaboard E-Mail address changed to granaboard -@at@- gmail -.dot.- com [2.4]
Take good notice of this and <u>◊◊◊◊DO NOT WRITE IT ANYWHERE WITHOUT CENSORING◊◊◊◊</u> so we don't get spammed.
(If you use Outlook or Outlook Express, do NOT add it to your contacts, and consider a decent email client like Mozilla Mail or Thunderbird.)
■ Articles no longer accepted for the Members' Articles section (will be replaced by Proto Omega) [3.14, 2.2]
■ No loli and shota just in case [2.7]
■ Mention to computer-generated spam [4.5]
■ New rule to moderate sensible personal information on request [2.18]
■ Information on Granaboard's privacy policy (or lack of) [1.5]
■ Minor changes to the text [*.*]
Changes to the Code of Honor (these rules are not mandatory, but highly encouraged):
■ The "post like a moron" rule: You write posts for others to read. Show them some respect and care for what you post: use punctuation and proper spelling, and revise what you're posting before hitting the submit button. Posts lacking punctuation, capitalization, etc. are frowned at and hurt your image. [5.4]
■ Rule to discourage the use of smileys, especially graphical [5.6]
■ Changing your nickname discouraged because it only confuses members and serves no purpose [5.9]
????
Feel free to comment on and discuss these rules and propose new rules in this thread.

Do you mean adult loli/shota material, or just in general? Does this include discussion of lolis e.g. legality, hot lolis etc.
Also, does it matter if we don't capitalise "i" when refering to ourselves? I find it annoying to have to have to do it mid sentence.

Thanks for your questions, this helps clarifying the rules.
Yes, you can discuss loli and shota legality and even hotness (if it doesn't get graphic, I suppsoe). All I'm worried for is what can get the board down.
Don't worry about "I", or capitalization in general - that's just a CoH rule, which you can be nice to follow. "I" is more than acceptable to leave uncapitalized.
